24 October 2025
Since its establishment in 2021, Nesir: Journal of Literary Studies has steadily expanded its international scholarly visibility. Today, the journal is indexed, abstracted, catalogued, or made discoverable through a growing number of international bibliographic databases, scholarly indexes, discovery services, and research infrastructure platforms.
These developments enhance not only the accessibility of the journal’s published research to a wider international readership but also its long-term visibility through persistent identifiers (DOIs), standardized metadata, and globally recognized scholarly infrastructure.
At present, Nesir is indexed or abstracted by major services including MLA International Bibliography, ERIH PLUS, the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), Linguistic Bibliography Online (Brill), the Norwegian Register for Scientific Journals, PhilPapers, TR Dizin, and several EBSCOhost databases.
The journal’s metadata and bibliographic records are also harvested or made discoverable through internationally recognized research infrastructure and discovery services such as Google Scholar, Semantic Scholar, OpenAlex, Crossref, OpenAIRE, and Jisc Open Policy Finder.
Guided by its commitment to international publishing standards, Nesir will continue its efforts to expand its scholarly visibility and enhance the global accessibility of the research it publishes.
